A nursing CV in Malaysia is read quickly — often in under a minute. Your job is to make registration status, clinical exposure and availability obvious on the first page.
Start with a four-line professional summary: your role, years of practice, main clinical setting and what you are looking for. Avoid generic statements about being a hard worker; state the wards, procedures and patient loads you have handled.
Place your credentials block immediately below the summary: Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia registration number, APC validity, BLS/ACLS certification dates and any post-basic qualifications. Recruiters and facility admins check these first.
For each role, use three to five bullet points that quantify your work — bed count, patient ratio, specialty procedures, equipment used, and any audit, mentoring or infection-control responsibilities.
Close with a short section on availability and mobility: states you can work in, shift patterns you accept and notice period. For locum work this section frequently decides whether you are contacted.
